Yoga Nidra, also known as yogic sleep, is a guided meditation practice that takes you into a state of profound relaxation and conscious rest. This workshop offers an opportunity to release stress, restore energy, and tap into the innate healing capacities of your body and mind.
In this workshop, you'll be gently guided into a state of deep relaxation through a systematic meditation technique. Our experienced instructor, Aminta Gagnon will lead you through a series of guided visualizations, body awareness exercises, and breathwork, helping you enter a state of deep relaxation while remaining fully conscious and aware.
About This Workshop
The Yoga Nidra for Deep Relaxation workshop will begin with a brief introduction to the practice of Yoga Nidra and its benefits. You'll be guided to create a comfortable and supportive space for your practice, either lying down or sitting in a relaxed position.
The instructor will then lead you through a progressive relaxation technique, where you'll systematically relax and release tension from different parts of your body. As you journey deeper into relaxation, you'll explore guided visualizations that invoke a sense of peace, tranquility, and inner harmony.
Throughout the workshop, breathwork exercises will be incorporated to further enhance your relaxation experience. You'll learn simple breathing techniques that promote a calm and centered state of being, allowing you to release stress and restore balance to your nervous system.
The workshop will conclude with a gentle transition back to wakefulness, leaving you feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and deeply relaxed.
