Feel Empowered With Onzie
We love the leggings for their print and fit, but once we learned more about this brand, we became obsessed. Onzie is the embodiment of female empowerment. They are an independent and female-owned and operated business, just like WEDOYOGA and we are here for those boss babe vibes!
Onzie has a deep respect for the human body and what it can do. That’s why their employees live and breathe the brand - wearing it in and out of the office, testing it and speaking passionately about the values of the brand. When you buy a pair of Onzie leggings, you know they’ve come from a creative, inspiring, and empowered company.
Many of our customers love the range of clothing we stock, from the breathable and fun-coloured Selenite leggings to the flowy tops and matching bras we have in store. The Selenite leggings are the Onzie signature pattern which comes out every year in a new colour with a matching bra. This flattering and figure hugging design is one of our family favourites, with some of our teacher’s raving about them anytime someone compliments them in class.
It’s not just our teachers that love them, our customers love them too. Made with Free-Flow Fabric Technology, the printed leggings and biker shorts are great in the studio, the pool (yes, you can wear them swimming!), the ocean, and in any other sweaty practice you get up to. They’re fast drying, comfortable, and keep the body cool.
Onzie is all about making their products accessible which is why they’re so versatile and available in a large range of sizes from 0-18. The flexibility of the fabric allows movement and stretch whilst keeping the integrity of the fit. Plus the high-waisted band is comfortable and stays up during a run, and the midi length is that perfect amount of not too short and not too long. Because of the range of sizes and the difference between the fabric in the Selenite vs the High Rise Midi’s we recommend trying them on or ordering a couple sizes to check the fit is perfect for you.
Like all WEDOYOGA brands, Onzie takes pride in their brand sustainability credentials. Leftover fabric is made into scrunchies and over the last year they’ve also been making face masks with it. Made in the USA, 99% of their garment process happens locally in LA including design, knitting, dyeing, cutting, sewing, photography, marketing, and distribution. We love when businesses keep it local and do much of the manufacturing process nearby, which is why we strive to stock brands that play a supportive role in their community.
Onzie’s goal is to inspire playfulness, confidence, and self-expression into every move you make and we love bringing that to you in our shop and studio.
