Meet Lizzie Gull
Lizzie is a yoga teacher who combines creative, dynamic movement with mindful awareness to help students build strength, balance, and connection both on and off the mat.
About Lizzie
Lizzie grew up in Old Knebworth and has been practicing yoga in different forms since she was 16, including hatha, vinyasa, power, hot yoga and aerial yoga. Currently, her favourite practice is vinyasa and her teaching style centres around creative and dynamic flows that encourage mindful movement, strength and balance. She enjoys designing thoughtful sequences that allow space for students to explore both challenge and ease in their practice.
Lizzie is a certified hatha and vinyasa yoga teacher, and completed her 200 hour training with House of Om in Ubud, Bali in May 2025.
Lizzie's Yoga Teaching
Lizzie was first drawn to yoga as a way to move and stretch her body, and loves a challenge in learning a new pose or improving her flexibility. Since her teacher training, she has learnt that there is so much more to yoga, understanding it to be movement as meditation, and loves learning about and sharing the rich history and philosophy behind the practice, including the stories and symbolism behind poses, to help students connect more deeply with yoga beyond the mat. One of her favourite books to learn more is ‘The Stories Behind the Poses’ by Dr. Raj Balkaran.
Qualifications: RYT 200hr Certified Yoga Teacher Training
