Our mini-festival will begin at 6:30 with an opening meditation ceremony, opening you up to receive all the wonders of the evening. The meditation will be followed by our ‘Salute the Sun Flow’ celebrating the Summer Solstice, and the beginnings of a new chapter with your favourite WEDOYOGA teachers! We will then pick up the pace and bring the fun with our very own Colour Yoga, celebrating the International Day of Yoga, and just having some fun! When we’re all messy and colourful, we will then sit down to a delicious, nutritious dinner together before bringing the evening to a close and welcoming the stars with a Yoga Nidra and Sound Healing class.
What Is Colour Yoga?
Our colour yoga class is the best way to celebrate the International Day of Yoga, and the Summer Solstice! Colour Yoga brings a modern twist to a regular yoga class but also echoes some deeper, older traditions of Yoga and Hinduism. WEDOYOGA Founder Aminta created ColourYoga™ a few years back when she taught the first-ever ColourYoga™ class in June 2018!
The perfect fusion of old and new, Colour Yoga combines the traditions of a fiery Vinyasa flow, and the Hindu tradition of throwing Holi powder, with a modern twist! The class opens with an energising and colourful Vinyasa sequence, during which all yogis will be given a pack of coloured powder, and encouraged to let it fly! Holi powder is used at the annual Hindu Holi festival - a festival of fun, and celebration of new beggings- as Summer Solstice is often said to be a time of renewal and celebration, we could not think of a more fitting and fun class to celebrate!
Celebrate the tradition and constant evolution of Yoga in the modern world. Connect to yourself, acknowledge how far you’ve come, and how far you wish to go, all under the light and magic of the Summer Solstice.
“Life is a great big canvas; throw all the paint you can at it.”

Who Can Join?
All yogis are welcome to come and celebrate light and the longest day of the year. All you need is water and a mat! Feel free to bring any extra layers or blankets for the Yoga Nidra + Sound Meditation as it might be a little chilly!
