WEDOYOGA are teaming up with crafty yoga instructor Tara Clark to bring you a series of exciting new workshops as part of our Create + Meditate Series. Get ready to bring the art of craft to your yoga practice by getting creative with painting, sewing, and making.
Intention Setting + Zodiac Watercolours Workshop
The series kicks off right before the March New Moon with our Intention Setting + Zodiac Watercolours Workshop. In this 2 hour workshop you will be making a watercolour painting of your star sign and learning about what the New Moon will be bringing you this month for your zodiac symbol. All supplies will be provided.

Next up is the Mindful Mala Making Workshop where we explore the amazing and therapeutic energy of malas and meditation.
Mindful Mala Making + Meditation Workshop
This 3 hour workshop starts with an introduction to malas and the significance in the number of beads and knots. After instruction and a brief centering exercise, you will choose what goes on your mala by setting an intention for your practice and selecting from the variety of stones provided making your mala completely unique to you. Additional supplies for stringing your stones and finishing the necklace will be provided as well as herbal tea and snacks.
During the workshop you will learn about the history of malas, intention setting, mantra meditation, and a bit about the crystals and stones we’ve provided. The session closes with a partially guided meditation with your newly created mala. Space is limited to 15 students so be sure to book well in advance.

Savasana Eye Pillow Making + Restorative Workshop
As Summer begins, we’ll be finishing off with a make-your-own Savasana eye pillow workshop followed by a luxurious restorative yoga practice.
In this 2 hour workshop you will be hand sewing an eye pillow made from botanically hand-dyed linen. While you get started with the stitching, Tara will guide you through some of the benefits of using eye pillows during Savasana as well as taking you through the materials you can use to enhance the properties of the pillow. All supplies will be provided.
After you have completed your eye pillow, you will be guided through a restorative yoga practice to help settle the mind, before being led through a guided meditation where you can try out your new creation. If you haven’t used eye pillows during your practice before you’re in for a real treat.
Space is limited to 15 students so be sure to book well in advance.
